transcendence begins
with suffering
of the highest degree
with the darkness
of a starless sky
and the emptiness
of a Godless world
transforming –at its end–
is Alice awakening
only to realise
She is the White Rabbit
She is the Mad Hatter
She is Queen of Hearts
She is the entirety of Wonderland
it is all inside her
it always has been
